How Is Liver Health Measured?
Liver health is measured by a “Liver Function Test” which measures enzyme and protein levels in your blood to check how well the liver is working
AST Levels
Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) is an enzyme that helps metabolize amino acids.
CAP Score
Controlled Attenuation Parameter (CAP) Score measures the fat in liver (FibroScan Assessment).
ALT Levels
Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) is an enzyme that aids energy production in liver cells.
Based on your liver function test results, you will be classified into one of the four liver health grades.
Grade 0
No Excess Liver Fat
Grade 1
Low Excess Liver Fat
Grade 2
Moderate Excess Liver Fat
Grade 3
High Excess Liver Fat
Our Results
Clinical Study 1
In this study, we showcase how 'Dose for your Liver' significantly decreases liver enzyme levels in participants with Grade 2 liver health.*
Study attributes
- 30 participants
- 8 weeks
- Biomarkers measured: ALT, AST, CAP score
50%
decrease in AST levels*
4.0x more effective than placebo
52%
decrease in ALT Levels*
4.5x more effective than placebo
AST Results
+Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) is an enzyme your liver makes. Higher than average AST levels indicate an unhealthy liver.
Dose for your Liver helped decrease AST levels by 50%, from 62.0 to 31.0 U/L*
ALT Results
+Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT) is an enzyme that helps you break down food into energy. Higher than average ALT levels indicate an unhealthy liver.
Dose for your Liver helped decrease ALT levels by 52%, from 69.5 to 33.1 U/L*
Our Results
Clinical Study 2
In this study, we showcase how 'Dose for your Liver' decreases and maintains healthy liver enzyme levels in participants with Grade 0-1 liver health.*
We decided to measure an additional three biomarkers of the Liver Function Test (GGT, ALP and APRI)
Study attributes
- 120 participants
- 6 months
- Biomarkers measured: ALT, AST, APRI, GGT, ALP
77%
Improved in ALT Levels
Dose for your Liver improved ALT levels in 77% of participants*
65%
Improved in AST Levels
Dose for your Liver improved AST levels in 65% of participants*
100%
Improved in ALP Levels
Dose for your Liver improved ALP levels in 100% of participants*
60%
Improved in GGT Levels
Dose for your Liver improved GGT levels in 60% of participants*
62%
Improved in APRI Levels
Dose for your Liver improved APRI levels in 62% of participants*
How does Dose for your Liver impact more than just liver health?
61.54%
OF PARTICIPANTS
reported improved cholesterol levels*
The liver produces 80% of your body's cholesterol. Your cholesterol numbers show how much cholesterol is circulating in your blood. With high cholesterol, you can develop fatty deposits in your blood vessels.
41.54%
OF PARTICIPANTS
reported improved triglyceride levels*
Triglycerides are a type of fat. They are produced in the liver and can also come from the food you eat. High triglyceride levels in your blood can raise your risk of heart disease and stroke.
45%
OF PARTICIPANTS
reported improved C-peptide levels*
C-peptide serves as an indicator of insulin production in the body. C-peptide levels can signal an excess of liver fat.
37%
OF PARTICIPANTS
improved Serum Creatinine levels*
A creatinine test is a measure of how well your kidneys are performing their job of filtering waste from your blood. A buildup of creatinine in the blood can be a sign of impaired kidney function. Liver health can directly influence kidney function, as both organs are integral to the body's waste management processes.
